Master's in Nonprofit Administration Program

I serve as a teaching assistant for Decision Analysis & Statistics in Notre Dame's Master's in Nonprofit Administration program — a graduate-level course taken by students who are, in most cases, considerably further along in their careers than I am.

My main responsibility is leading weekly office hours, where I work through regression, probability models, and quantitative decision frameworks with students one on one. The work is less about knowing the answer and more about diagnosing where someone's understanding actually breaks down, then rebuilding it from there.

Teaching statistics to graduate students has sharpened my own command of the material more than any exam did. Being the person in the room who has to explain why a model behaves the way it does forces a level of clarity that passive studying never requires.
